UPDATE: We stand corrected! In our April 4 post “Magnite + Pubmatic, unknown take rates” we said Magnite stopped reporting gross ad spend after 2019, but that is incorrect.
Thanks to one of our astute subscribers, we were pointed to FY21 and FY22 earnings transcripts stating:
2022: "For the full year 2022, we reported revenue ex-TAC of $515 million and total ad spend approached $4.5 billion."
2021: "We posted $416 million in revenue ex-TAC for the year on total ad spend of roughly $3.5 billion"
