Welcome back to “PrograMADic… The Musical” — A newsletter offshoot from Quo Vadis to keep our supporters and patrons of the theatre informed on the most creative project in AdTech Land.
This summer I floated a musical concept at Canned Lions. It’s called ProgrMADic… (the musical). We also launched a crowdfunding initiative to raise $50,000 by selling 500 of these gorgeous trucker hats.
The project got off to a nice start. Get yours today — thanks for your support!
Making a musical about Programmatic Land is a huge endeavor. Our production spirit has a “find a way or make one” attitude. That’s the only way when you have no idea which way the road is going to turn on a journey like this. But anyway you cut it, our Quo Vadis community is going to take this production into the stratosphere!
The Script
The question I’m getting the most is:
“What’s the plot? What’s the story about?”
So, I did the logically irrational thing anyone else would do. I wrote a movie script to show one way to tell the magical story of programmatic. I think it’s pretty darn good, but you’ll be the judge of that.
Starting later today, we are releasing the script in scene-by-scene episodes. It’s simply called, “PrograMADic.” We’ll share each scene or two throughout the rest of 2023.
Our Production Approach in Layers
If movies like “Catch Me If You Can”, “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”, and the granddaddy of them all, “The Producers” were originally movies later made into musicals, then that’s the path PrograMADic will take.
Step 1: Continue to grow the community around the project.
Step 2: Like many of you, I’ve been to a few musicals but never produced one. The movie script lays out the story as the first layer.
Step 3: The musical bits and pieces will be layered on top. We’ll cross that bridge when we get there.
Along the way, we’re looking to sell 500 PrograMADic trucker-style hats to build community support. Don’t forget to get yours today! Thanks for your support.
