“I’m not sure everything in adtech is ‘adtech.’
‘Ad’ should be short for advertising. I am not sure what we haven’t built is an entire industry of machines seeking credit for transactions rather than machines causing transactions. And that is what I think has metastasized over the top of adtech.”
That quote sets the spirit of our interview with Joe as we unpack his perspective on the evolving adtech ecosystem, his investment approach, and his vision for the future of advertising.
